Restored Pianos for Sale
Late 19th-century Steinway Model A grand piano, Hamburg manufacture, dating from 1896. The instrument has been expertly restored, with work carried out sympathetically to preserve original character while ensuring reliable musical performance.
A new action has been fitted and regulated, offering even touch, good control, and consistent response across the keyboard.
The cabinet has been professionally refinished and presents well. Tonally, the piano retains the depth and richness associated with early German made Steinways, without being voiced towards a modern, bright profile.
The Model A remains a practical size for domestic or studio use, while offering sufficient power and tonal range for advanced repertoire. This example would suit a committed amateur, teacher, or professional seeking a historically grounded Steinway in reliable condition.
A practical and desirable Steinway model, combining manageable size with a full tonal range.
