Henry Perry is a classically trained pianist and highly skilled piano restorer, recognised for his meticulous craftsmanship and deep musical insight. With a foundation in classical performance and years of hands-on experience in piano restoration, he offers a rare blend of artistic sensitivity and technical precision. He graduated with a Masters degree in Classical Performance from the London College of Music, and has been hands-on with pianos ever since. During his studies he was awarded the position of LCM Keyboard Fellow, also receiving a scholarship from Steinway & Sons. He spent his recent years as Workshop Manager at William Young Pianos, where he honed his craft and developed a profound understanding of piano restoration before embarking on his own venture as “The Piano Restorer”. His background as a performer and teacher informs his understanding of tonal nuance, action responsiveness, and the unique character of each piano, ensuring results that meet the highest standards of musicians and institutions alike.
